- World of Warcraft: Chronicle Volume 1
World of Warcraft: Chronicle Volume 1 is a journey through an age of myth and legend, a time long before the Horde and the Alliance came to be. This definitive tome of Warcraft history reveals untold stories about the birth of the cosmos, the rise of ancient empires, and the forces that shaped the world of Azeroth and its people.
This beautiful hardcover features twenty-five full-page paintings by World of Warcraft artist Peter Lee, as well as a cosmology chart, half a dozen maps charting changes through time, and other line art illustrations by Joseph Lacroix, and marks the first in a multipart series exploring the Warcraft universe; from the distant past to the modern era.

A quality book. Amazing.
I recommend it to every WoWer - lore freak or not. :)
Bought it as a present for my boyfriend and he loves it. He and I both. :)
And I ordered it to Slovenia on Friday and it already arrived to Ljubljana, our capital, on Monday. 3 days, including Sat and Sun and it was here! Crazy!
Can't wait for all the continuing volumes, it's gonna be one damn good collection. ^^,
Thank you, Blizz. ;) (Posted on 7/27/16)
- High Quality, Very goodReview by Kildare
It does not delve into the individual story lines of characters but it does present the Warcraft universe as a whole. It could be looked at as a encyclopedia of Warcraft or even the baseline of Warcraft.
Regardless of if you have read Warcraft books in the past or not I would recommend this book. It's a good starter book before going into the novels however if you have already read the novels then reading this book is still worth it.
Overall I can't really say anything bad about this book. It's for the fans that actually want a hard copy of the lore and for those people it is certainly worth it. (Posted on 7/26/16)

I could gush about this but if you are a fan of Warcraft then this is a must buy. This would be a fantastic gift for a Warcraft fan.
You do not have to be a lore nerd to appreciate the book. It will appeal to all.
I guess I shouldn't expect too much for the price but... I had hoped for a higher print quality. I am not demanding photo quality for this price point but the high quality of art deserves a bit of indulgence at the printing company, even if that had to raise the vendor price.
On examination of the spine I am confident the cloth, stitching and glue will last through the years. (Posted on 4/2/16)
